Has it
really been a whole year? It doesn't feel like it. But
then again, a lot has happened in the year gone by.
We started
with 20 reviews and six listings. Now we've got over 360
reviews and listings online - almost one for every
single day we've been going. And that was despite a long
hiatus when we had a Baby Invasion in our home!
One year
on, there have been plenty of highlights (and a few
lowlights!) so it seems like a good time to think about
which sites have left a lasting impression on me. |

It wasn't easy to narrow down the choices, I
must be honest. Over the last year we've
seen literally hundreds of great (and some
not-so-great!) sites. Trying to work out
which ten sites were my favourites took a
long time and I'm sure that as soon as my
list is posted I'll suddenly think, "Oh NO!
I've left out... (insert name of site
here)!"

Mandi
Rose Fanelli |

One of my all-time favourite sites from the
days before Masturbation Invasion, I enjoyed
it all over again when we launched and chose
a couple of our favourite collectives to
review.
Mandi Rose Fanelli
is a solo model with a great range of
material and a damn sexy body. I've rarely
found another solo site that holds my
attention and offers something a bit
different to the usual solo content.

& 1 By Night |

The recently renamed
1 By Day & 1 By Night
is what all sites should aspire to be, and
yet probably could never manage. With the
wonderful photography of Denys Defrancesco,
two updates every day (or as the title would
suggest, one update every day and one every
night!) and stunning models among its pages
not only does it offer an enormous archive
of quality content but you will never run
out of movies and galleries. It's like the
gift that just keeps on giving! (Apart from
when I had to go through the review,
changing the name of the site wherever it
was mentioned to reflect its double update
program!)

FTV Girls |
|
Really classy site, this one. Unusually for
such a big site there's no M/F hardcore
action which some people might find
disappointing but if, like me, you're only
interested in looking at girly bits then
it's a big plus point. This was one of our
featured reviews and quite rightly so!

We were the first review site to review
Racquel Devonshire
(come on, we deserve one boast! It is our
birthday, after all!) and the MILF gained a
lot of attention as hundreds of people
visited our review. Although originally
reviewed by Hudson I wanted to know what all
the fuss was about so we upgraded Ms
Devonshire's site to a featured review and I
was able to see for myself the charms of
this sexy, mature model.

Dolls |
|
Still sounding like a rather dangerous toy
(although probably the only kind of doll
left that's not covered with lead paint!),
these girls are dangerous in a very
different way! I'm not ashamed to admit that
I'm a goth/punk fetishist and after Hudson
reviewed this site I couldn't resist having
a look myself. The community feel and mix of
amateurs and professionals makes this an
interesting site.

To date the only lesbian hentai site we've
seen, let alone reviewed,
Lestai
manages to combine two of my favourite
genres and it does it so well. There's so
much hardcore hentai around that it's
usually quite hard to pick out the F/F
scenes, but Lestai has selected them to save
you the trouble! There are no frills, it's
an uncomplicated site that does what it says
on the tin and it's all the better for it.

Finger Club |

A site that Hudson had reviewed long before
we launched our own site, I'd heard so much
about Four Finger Club that I just had to
review it for myself. It's surprisingly hard
to find quality "Lesbian Hardcore" material
that involves more than a little bit of
touching and licking, but Four Finger Club
has more than its fair share! 'Subtle' is
not a word you could ever attach here. Plus,
any site that features Jezebelle Bond is
alright by me!

The beautiful Apnea quickly became one of my
favourite adult models as we began our site.
One of the first sites that I reviewed after
our launch, Apneatic combines beautiful
photography with gothic/punk content. There
are some unusual fetishes included here too
- I don't think I've ever seen another
Vacbed since reviewing this site, for
example!

Wide Wives |

Now, it's been quite some time since I first
encountered World Wide Wives and waxed
lyrical about it to Hudson. Earlier this
year I had the pleasure of reviewing it
again. Perhaps the best truly amateur site
I've seen to-date, real housewives submit
themselves getting up to naughty business
for a bite of the adult internet world. This
is one of the most genuinely fun, friendly
and entertaining sites we've found - and I
still giggle childishly at the boobs in the
middle 'W' of the logo!

After a lot of hard thinking and
considering the many sites we've reviewed
over the last year, there could only really
be one winner for me, and that is
Bald Girlz.
One of the very first sites we reviewed,
this unusual and fun fetish site caught our
attention so much that we recently ran a
special weekend based around hair/bald
fetish sites!
The webmistress,
Kat Surth,
runs her site with enjoyment and really
cares about her members, such a rare thing
in the cynical world of adult entertainment.
This gives Bald Girlz a genuinely fun feel
Featuring beautiful, bald models as well as
those with short hair and a few
miscellaneous fetishes such as wet and messy
fun thrown in to the mix, Bald Girls will
always stand out in my mind as one of the
most original and unique sites on the net.
Whew - what a year that was! We hope you've
enjoyed it as much as we have - and here's
to the next 365 (or 366 as 2008 is a leap
