Obviously it's a case of
'lost in translation' when it comes to the names of these
genuine Oriental sites - they never come out sounding
particularly pornographic. But after almost 4 successful years
of business, 88Square has managed to position itself as
one of the best Oriental and Asian sites around without a
search-engine friendly title. Funnily enough, it opts for the
old-fashioned technique of producing good content instead.
All of the girls here are genuinely from the Far East, and are
usually not Japanese. They are usually from surrounding
countries like Vietnam, Philippines, Burma, Thailand and so on.
I quite like that actually - Japanese porn stars get quite a lot
of exposure but there isn't much around for girls from other
countries in that region to show off their wares.
Having said that, there
is an impressive collection of Japanese movies on show here,
these largely being of a hardcore nature, as is the collection
of Thai movies.
Much of the content though is well-photographed nude glamour
material, with a mixture of professional and non professional
models featured. In all, they've used over 140 different models
in their time, and they often feature more than once too.
Generally speaking, I
don't like soft photos / hard videos organization that
sites like 88Square use - I like to see a mix and match. But
actually, it works quite well here.
In terms of the site's presentation, not much is wrong with
88Square although it could perhaps have plopped in a few more
browsing features on the photos and videos for good measure.
Despite these
criticisms, 88Square is a very respectable Asian site
indeed. You can certainly see why it's so popular and done so
well with the critics over the years, but I reckon they've got a
bit more in their tank and could do even better. |
