We feel most privileged,
we really do. Our humble abode has been approached by one of the
most renowned peddlers of nude women from the last 40 years or
so. That's pretty good.
And, as you would
expect, this is a site that is filled with some of the best
mainstream porn that money can be. Unlike it's big name
counterparts, they tend to favour the eastern European girls out
there and not the sweet-as-sugar Americans that Playboy and
Hustler largely deal in on a global scale.
In fact, for someone like me who does favour the European
look, it's as much a fascinating opportunity to trace where some
of the continent's biggest stars shot to fame as it is to see
them in all their glory. From glamorous sun-drenched nude
softcore shoots to explicit hardcore anal action, Private
always feel comfortable will all manner of different genres of
adult action and always fill them with the cream of European
talent.
When you then consider that many of their magazine issues can be
viewed on this, their official site too, things really do look
quite bright. But whilst in terms of high glamour porn, Private
can't do much wrong, I did leave the site wondering if there
should have been more to it. By that, I don't mean more content
- there is more than enough here to keep you occupied to say the
very least. I just got the impression that this was another
website from a hugely popular adult magazine company that fell
short of its lesser-known online competition.
In terms of its presentation, Private is often a
confusing and incomplete fare. The stars, photo galleries and
videos all get their own sections - but where is the more
complete update information and the A-Z complete indexes? Why
aren't there more browsing options in terms of formats on the
videos? Why aren't features such as interviews and outtakes
given their own specific categories in their top menu bar? These
may seem harsh criticisms but it's because I really do expect
the very highest quality from the likes of Private, because
there are so very good so very much of the time.
However, it is at least worth noting that all these complaints
are on the presentational and navigational sides of things and
that in terms of its content, it rarely comes up short. And by
having their entire archive of magazine issues online in their
fullest, it's a marvellous chance to look at how this company
has evolved over the years and catch up with some stars of
yesteryear. |
